Eternity
Understanding forever
is the wonder of endless constellations,
the quiet moon
chilly and alone
in the darkness
watching small stars
while incredible and amazing
cross my mind.

The Dead Poets Society met in a cave to read and share verse. This group is for poets who are very much alive, who have words running, pulsating through their veins. From an outside landscape that can be harsh and barren, we come together in this nurturing, verdant oasis; fellow wanderers, wonderers, sharing our words.

I really loved this piece, "the wonder of endless constellations" and indeed, I think I have felt as you have, looking at the night in awe.
My sister wrote to me today saying we all have a need of our own view, our own spirit. And this is true. But then, as you suggest, Faucon, trusting another's view is no doubt going beyond belief...do we all want to believe, ultimately, in the same wonders? Is this what it's all about?
