The 'Moors' of Utah

I always felt the winter cold like a knife

But told myself that the hours spent out on the moors
made me ‘rosy and strong’, just like Mary Lennox

Living forever inside a book,
running across the wind swept ‘moors’
of a snow covered Rocky Mountain playground
