Those Who Seek

A wanderer on a long and lonely path,
Breaking new trails,
Leading the way into the unknown,
Possessed by purpose,
Guided by fate,
Seeking the truth.

A gathering at Stonehenge,
Druids gather round,
To delve into the mysterious,
To speak with the ancients,
Bound by purpose,
Seeking the truth.

A witch in her house,
Bent over a cauldron,
Watching as it smokes and bubbles,
Stirring with long spoon,
Wondering at fate,
Seeking the truth.

A wizard in his tower,
Gazes into a crystal ball,
Searching its depths fer answers,
Lifting the veil of fog that covers his sight,
Guided by wisdom and insight,
Seeking the truth.

Truth be a funny thing,
It may not be what ye seek.
A riddle to some,
Unacceptable to others,
Only yields itself up to those,
Seeking the truth.

Yes! Well Met Mead Master!

I'm most glad to have your words and whimsey here (though this one is not so whimsical, this deep seeking of truth.)

Rest your mind and heart with the translucence of poetry in between those oh-so-solid teachings of the mind. Most anyone who has ever been to college will tell you: procrastination is a fine art, one that must be practiced to maintain sanity!

And in that crystalline translucence of verse . . . I will meet you in the shadows of Stonehenge, at the turning, when the wind whips with purpose across the Salisbury plain.
