I look at my body
naked in the mirror
steamed after showering
blessed filter of vision!
mirror imaging.....
right is left and left is right
I look lovely (to myself) from all angles
and I'm soft
I'll not mourn the loss of once enviable breasts
they've just moved a bit, is all
gently persuaded by gravity
to change location
I wonder if the reason
I'm so comfortable in my skin
is because it's grown looser
by design of time.. and nature?

Absolutely stunning, Maya. The soft, beautiful description and wording, the marvelous conclusion. It brought tears. How beautiful - and incredibly refreshing - to find a woman who knows how beautifully she is made, who can truly feel not only at home, but lovely, in “skin grown looser by design of time.. and nature.” Thank you for this.
