The Wind Blows in from the Sea

The wind blows fresh from the sea
its salty breath cleansing and pure.
It opens my eyes and clears my mind,
alerting my senses to the wonders around me.

A tiny bird flies unyielding into the storm.
What think you, little bird,
what secrets do you share?

In Native American folklore, birds often speak to vision questers. They haven't shared any secrets with me....Yet! I loved your short, sweet poem.
